Overview

NAFA sets sail on the Oasis of the Seas for a seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. A new class of naval-engineering genius, Oasis of the Seas offers a neighborhood concept experience with seven distinct districts, including the part-nature, part-nautical Central Park, the family-oriented Boardwalk and the Royal Promenade at the heart of the cruise ship. And on this special voyage, you’ll earn 20 continuing education credits.

The cruise meeting centers on discussion of patient safety issues in anesthesia. The problem-based teaching format incorporates the use of lecture presentations, video vignettes, case studies and group discussion showcasing the evolution of human error and crisis management techniques to enhance decision-making and problem-solving in practice.
